 WE ARE BASED IN PUERTO AVENTURAS, the heart of the Riviera Maya. We have an office with bilingual staff on the Marina, right near our boats and right off the fishing grounds. That means we are on site, not just taking your reservation from a computer somewhere. Our office is open every day, from 8:00am til 7:pm central time. - IF THERE IS EVER A PROBLEM WITH THE WEATHER, we call you at your hotel before you leave for the marina. You don't show up and run the risk that the boat didn't show up or is late.
- YOU ARE NOT CHARGED UNTIL THE DAY OF THE TRIP. If the trip is cancelled because of weather and cannot be rescheduled you do not have to wait weeks or even months for a refund.
- WE OWN ALL OF OUR BOATS, and maintain them with our mechanics and our parts. We control quality and offer you exactly what you want. You tell us the size of boat you want , when you want it and what kind of fishing you want to do, and leave the rest to us! Our services are child friendly and our boats are handicap accessible.
- WE MAINTAIN PERMANENT SLIPS IN THE MARINA. Everyone knows where Capt Ricks keeps their boats. You never show up to find nobody knowing your boat, or hearing that your boat hasn't come in yet, or it is over at the fuel dock, or whatever.
- You get a free 'Captain Ricks' T-Shirt with every booking. Just ask at the Office when you go fishing!
- BEWARE OF TRANSIENT BOATS coming over from other parts of Mexico. These boats do not belong in the Marina trolling for customers. They do not know the waters and often the boats and their inexperienced crews are not licensed and up to safety standards. Our crews are very knowledgeable of the boats. Our Captains and Mates have been with us for years. They know the fish and the water because this is their home port
